Privacy Policy
What we know about you (not much)
Last updated: January 2025
The quick summary
We collect what we need to run IconForge and nothing more. We do not sell your data, we do not track you around the web, and we use cookies only for keeping you logged in.
What we collect
- Your email — so you can log in and we can reach you if needed
- Your prompts and icons — that is what makes the service work
- Payment info — handled by Stripe, we never see your card number
- Basic usage stuff — to fix bugs and make things better
How we use it
Pretty straightforward: to run the service, save your icon history, process payments, and occasionally email you if something important happens. We are not going to spam you.
Where your data lives
Everything is encrypted and stored securely. Your account data lives in Supabase, payments go through Stripe, and everything travels over HTTPS. We do not store passwords in plain text—that would be bonkers.
Who else sees your data
To make IconForge work, we share data with:
- OpenAI — your prompts go to them to generate images
- Anthropic — helps us make your prompts better
- Stripe — handles payments securely
- Supabase — stores your account and data
- Vercel — hosts the whole thing
Each has their own privacy policy. We picked them because they take privacy seriously.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you your data, fix mistakes, delete everything, or export it. Just email us and we will sort it out.
Cookies
We only use cookies to keep you logged in. That is it. No tracking pixels, no third-party advertising nonsense.
Kids
IconForge is not for children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the service. If you are a parent and find out your child has signed up, let us know and we will delete their account.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the date at the top. No sneaky changes.
